Bartender

The Kremlin Bar is always on the look out for professional and experienced bartenders.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide friendly, responsive and professional service
• Prepare and serve drinks
• Prepare and serve food snacks
• Re-stock bar, kitchen and storage areas
• Maintain a neat and clean environment
• Maintain a professional and efficient work ethic, particularly at quiet times when additional cleaning and stocking tasks should be performed

Your experience must include (minimum requirements):

• RSA certificate or equivalent
• Minimum 1 years experience in cocktail making (mixology)
• Minimum 1 years experience in general bartending

The following experience is not mandatory however will be highly regarded:

• Strong applied knowledge in mixology, including all classic cocktails, garnishing and serving
• Strong applied knowledge in vodka history/tradition, preparation and serving
• Strong applied knowledge in wine, beer and premium spirits

Pay and conditions:

• Casual ongoing role - Approximately 10-15 hours per week base (subject to operational requirements)
• Week on/week off roster - you must be able to work at least every second Friday and Saturday night
• Opportunities for additional shifts through swaps and functions/events
• Future opportunities for shift supervisor/manager position may exist for well performing bartenders
• Above award hourly pay plus super, negotiable based on level of experience
• Uniform shirts provided
